So.. It’s Saturday. Which means I haunt posted in about a week. So I’m gonna fix that by posting.
Someone is coming to look at our house tomorrow. That’s good I guess except that Belle has to come to church with us again (she had to come last week too) and my Dad has to sit in the parking lot with her.
My Newsboys Born Again CD, along with the t-shirts I won from Quiznos and IMAX, still haven’t come in the mail. I was really looking forward to listening to the Newsboys CD.. It was supposed to come 2weeks ago. And I won the shirts at the end of June. – sigh -
It’s raining slot right now, more than when Tropical Storm Bonnie was coming yesterday. I thought that was funny.
Well, I gotta eat now. Expect me to post a new VinylVentures post either later today or tomorrow. See Ya!
A little late, but Happy Birthday Disneyland! Today Disneyland celebrated being 55 years old. I made a stop motion to celebrate..
So, the other day I was on Twitter and I replied to @Pogue’s question on Twitter about apps that didn’t exist that you wish existed. Some of the answers got posted in the New York Times in a article he wrote (you can read that here if you’d like) and my answer was put in there too. My idea for an app was an app that tells you what there isn’t already an app for. hah. I think it’s a good idea. Havn’t you wondered what there wasn’t an app for when Apple’s TV commercial comes on and tells you “there’s an app for everything”? The app would be perfect. Anyways, in the article he wrote this about what I wrote:
The hard part, in other words, isn’t writing apps; it’s coming up with the ideas in the first place. Maybe what the world really needs, as @evoulie, notes, is “an app that tells you what there isn’t an app for.”
You can find the rest of that Article, with other iPhone App Ideas at nytimes.com here. Thanks for stopping by to read my post.. don’t forget to comment!
Welcome to episode #1 of “The VinylVentures of Evoulie and the VinylPeople”. Wow. That’s a long title. hah. Anyways, these posts are pretty much just gonna show my adventures with my Vinylmations. Cause they’re so awesome they get to go places with me. This episode mostly takes place in Orlando but there’s a few pictures from other places to.
Hey! It’s time for me to post something. What am I gonna post? I have no idea but I titled this “The Package(s)” so it must have something to do with that. hah. Anyways, I’m gonna be getting lots of mail soon. I keep buying and winning stuff. So far I’ve won an IMAX Toy Story 3 T-Shirt, and a Quiznos T-Shirt. Oh yeah, and I won a Joe Lauge CD and a John Mark McMillan CD from @WorshipRises on Twitter. I redeemed some of my points on Disney Movie Rewards for a Walt Disney Studios Hat and a Dug Bobblehead (you know.. the dog from UP). I bought the Sherman Brothers Songbook CD at Best Buy with my Best Buy Gift Card (it should come in the mail Monday), and I bought a Vinylmation from Park Series 3 for $7.99 and free shipping at disneystore.com (I got it today. I got a duplicate of my Toontown Vinylmation. Can’t wait to trade it on my next visit to WDW). I also ordered my custom park maps on the Disney World website because I’m 18 and it actually allows me to. My Newsboys CD should be coming in the mail soon too. So yeah, lots of mail.
In other news, we recently put our house up on the market. We want to move to a bigger house a few streets over. I think that’d be kinda cool even though I don’t really want to move because I’d have a bigger room and more space.
I’m going to start a new series of posts on my blog that have to do with my Vinylmations. It sohlud be really cool.. I’m gonna call them ‘VinylVentures’. So expect that to appear soon.
Welcome to the Churro Blog! This post is a salute to all nations.. but mostly America (not really..). It’ll be filled with tons of pictures and some text (that’s true..). Anyways.. let’s begin, shall we?
On our first day, we got there kinda late at night so me and my Dad stopped at Downtown Disney to check out D-Street, the new store over on the West Side. That store is awesome. They sell lots of Vinylmations and stuff. I got Miss Piggy and the Swedish Chef from the Muppets Vinylmation Series.
On day 2, we ate at Longhorn Steakhouse for lunch, and then headed to Downtown Disney again (except with the rest of the family). I got my Beaker Vinylmation from the Muppets series today.
Day 3! We went to Chick-Fil-A, The Sprint Store (to get my Dad’s phone fixed), Cold Stone Creamery (for some Ice Cream), and Krispy Kreme (for some delicious hot doughnuts).
Day 4 Already? Well it’s about time we get to a theme park! Today we went to the Magic Kingdom with our free ticket for volunteering! I got my hair cut at the Main Street Barber Shop, watched the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade (and the Volunteering Pre-Parade starring the Muppets!!), bought a new vinymation from the park series since I left my Custom Evoulie Vinyl at the resort by accident, took some awesome flower pics at the Rose Garden, saw the MiSiCiSP (I just wanted to use that abbreviation.. it stands for the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party), went on SPACE MOUNTAIN (first time since the rehab..). SM was awesome. Except I think It was too dark (or at least there’s nothing to look at when the TTA goes threw it). After Space Mountain, It was time for…..
SUMMER NIGHTASTIC!
We stopped at Club 626 (with DJ Elliot) to watch Goofy, Stitch, and Pluto dance before we headed off to find a spot for the Main Street Electrical Parade. It was really hard to find a good spot for the parade. The park was pretty empty throughout the day and then nighttime hits.. and it’s packed! The parade was really awesome though. I saw it once when i was really young but didn’t remember it so it was kinda cool to watch it. After the parade it was time for the Summer Nightastic Fireworks Show.. (I think I could’ve come up with a more creative name for the show though..). The fireworks were awesome.. of course. Then I went and got a Dole Whip in Adventureland and went to on Peter Pan’s Flight and saw Mickey’s Philharmagic. After that, we watched the end of the 2nd MSEP showing and then left the park. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I saw the Tronorail.. you know, the monorail that advertises the new Tron movie. Yeah, that’s cool.
On Day 5, I was really tired so I slept while my Dad and brothers went to the pool. Yeah, that’s pretty much it for Day 5.. I did have some Chick-Fil-A though.
Day 6! You know what that means, don’t you? Oh, you don’t? It’s means we went to SeaWorld! We went and saw the show Clyde & Seamore Take Pirate Island and the animals didn’t want to do the show. it made it kind of funny. Then we went to the Penguin Encounter and watched penguins. That’s always fun. After that we played some of the games outside and got a Penguin plush and a Shamu plush. Then we went and saw Blue Horizons. After that we went on the Wild Arctic ride and then it decided to rain.. alot, so I got a churro and then we left the park.
Well, It’s 7. Also known as July 2nd. You should know what that is. Yup.. my birthday! Hooray! We had cake and I opened presents and then we went to Downtown Disney and went on Characters in Flight (the balloon ride that is pure awesomeness..) and stopped at D-Street to trade my duplicate Vinylmation for a different one (I got an extra Rizzo the Rat Vinyl from the Muppets collection for my Birthday. I also got the Statler Vinyl for my birthday. I traded the extra Rizzo for a Puzzle Vinyl that has the retro WDW logo on it). Then, I went to go see Toy Story 3 for the 2nd time while the rest of the family went to see Grown Ups. (and then I got a churro.)
Aww.. I’m almost done with the writing part of this cause it’s the last day! We left the resort and then went to Target and atev at Cracker Barrel. Then we stopped at Best Buy and Books-a-Million and then we ended up at home..
You probably want pictures now after reading all that, right? Well, there’s lots of pictures (and I do mean LOTS), so you better prepare yourself. Take a quick break if you need to. Pictures in..
