w00t. Time for a David Crowder Band Concert Post. Yeah! The David Crowder Band Concert was AWESOME. I think that was one of the best live concerts I’ve seen. The concert was sold out. I had a seat in the 8th row, good seats. I was pretty far back in the line to get in too. The show opened with Seabird, and then Danyew. They were cool. The camera wasn’t focusing correctly on them so I don’t have many pictures of them but I have lots of good pictures of the Crowder Band. Before I start the pictures part of this post, you should look at a picture that the band tweeted from the stage. I’m not sure If I’m in it or not but It’s still a cool pic. http://twitpic.com/qb3jy.

Concert pictures time. On Sunday, I went to see Casting Crowns Until the Whole World Hears Tour. I won meet&greet passes and tickets from Mark Hall on Twitter. Thanks for those, by the way. The meet&greet was really fun. We got to meet the entire band. I had them sign their new CD (it was the first night they were selling it). Mark remembered me from Twitter, which was cool. Everyone liked the Animal (from the Muppets) shirt I was wearing.. I think everyone commented on it. On to the pictures!

Hey! You’re probably thinking right now “Another Review? Didn’t you just do a review the other day?” Well, That’s true but I wanted to review Casting Crowns’ New CD “Until The Whole World Hears” because I got it last night at their concert (the first night they were selling it) and I got it autographed. Like last time, I’m just going to talk about some of my favorite songs though.
All the songs on the CD came from things that they taught at their youth group.
The song ‘Until The Whole World Hears’ comes from a line that Mark’s mentor always signs at the end of his emails “Until the Whole World Hears.” The song was born out of John the Baptist’s life. Mark says, “Those simple words are a challenge to be intentional with the way we live our lives.” Definitely one of my favorite songs.
‘Always Enough’ is a song that says that God’s love is always enough for me. Awesome song.
‘To Know You’ is a song about surrendering to God. It says that I can’t live without God. More than my next breathe, more than life or death, all I’m reaching for.. I live my life to know you more..
I think this CD is really awesome. It’s a great CD to praise God to. Now go buy the CD, well actually.. don’t buy it now because it’s not out till tomorrow. But, buy it then! hah.

Welcome to the Churro Blog! Today I’m going to review Switchfoot’s new CD “Hello Hurricane”. “Hello Hurricane is an attempt to sing into the storm. Hello Hurricane is a declaration: you can’t silence my love. My plans will fail, the storms of this life will come, and chaos will disrupt even my best intentions, but my love will not be destroyed.” said Jon Foreman, lead singer of the band, on their blog (you can find that post here). Instead of reviewing every song on the CD like I did for Hawk Nelson’s Live Life Loud CD Review, I’m just going to write about my favorites. Let’s go!
One of my favorite songs on this album is the song Hello Hurricane. This song is really cool. It talks about how nothing can’t silence my love to God.
Mess of Me talks about how with all the problems in my life are much bigger than a temporary solution. There ain’t no drug, there ain’t to drug, it’s not enough, the sickness is myself.
Bullet Soul is an awesome song about how you only get one shot and making all you can out of that one shot.
The Sound (John M. Perkins’ Blues) is a song about how the past runs through our veins. Awesomeness.

Today, while I was at youth group, Pastor Joe was preaching and Ephesians 16-20 came in my head. I didn’t have any idea what it meant but after church I googled it and this was it.
16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

This is awesome. I tweeted @leeunkrich, he works at Pixar if you didn’t know, a question on Twitter. I asked him why churros weren’t in Pixar films and he replied saying that theres at least one in every Pixar film. I kinda wonder if that’s true or not. hah.
